MRS. ANNIE MAE WILLIAMSON Mrs. Annie Mae Williamson, 88, of Hogansville, went to be with her Savior, Sunday, February 6, 2011. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Brandon Williams will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Monday night. Mrs. Williamson was born April 6, 1922, in Greensboro, AL, daughter of the late William and Annie Lashley Turner. She had lived in Hogansville since 1936 and was a member of Highland Baptist Church. An expert gardener, she was an avid reader, loved fishing, and thrived on helping people. She had enjoyed 25 annual vacations with all of her daughters, and her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and family. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Martha Hale, Becky and Jimmy Carden, Ellen and Sammy Hubbard, all of Hogansville, Willie Todd of Lexington, KY, Shirley and Roger Williamson of Newnan, Joyce and Sam Harlin of Chattanooga, TN, and Bobbie and Jeff Williams of Portal; daughter in-law, Evelyn Williamson of Lone Oak; sister, Dorothy Marks of Carrollton; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Williamson; sons, Jackie Williamson and Amos Williamson; grandsons, Brent Williamson and Kenny Todd; and great-granddaughter, Kirsten Williamson. Flowers are appreciated, or memorial contributions may be made to Hospice LaGrange. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 9 Monday night, February 7th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 8th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
