MRS. ANNIE JO RICHARDSON Mrs. Annie Jo Richardson, 71, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 30, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Hinton Harris will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Born January 4, 1939, in Troup County, Mrs. Richardson was the daughter of the late Martin and Elmira Abbott Hester. She was a veteran of service in the U. S. Navy and lived in Hogansville before making her home in Jonesboro in 1996. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, was employed by Medunite as a medical claims processor prior to her retirement, and was the wife of the late Charlie Richardson. Survivors include her step-daughters and their husbands, Marie Hannah of Madison, Anita and Allen O'Neal, Ann and Jim Gentry, Linda Johnston, Tammy Smith, all of Newnan, and Lisa and Chris Boyd of LaGrange; brother and sister in-law, Jerry and Hazel Hester of San Diego, CA; brother in-law, John Allen of Hogansville; 25 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
