Mrs. Anne Williamson McKenney, 72, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Hospice LaGrange.
Mrs. McKenney was born July 22, 1944, in Hogansville, daughter of the late Thomas William Williamson and Ruby Turner Williamson. A lifelong resident of Hogansville, she was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and gardening.
Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Annette and Jeff Duffee of Hogansville; brothers, Billy Williamson of Hogansville, Joey and Theresa Williamson of LaGrange; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ken L. McKenney; sister, Betty Futral; brothers, Charlie Williamson, Edward Williamson; niece, Deana Williamson; nephews, Billy Joe Williamson, Lamar Williamson, Terry Futral; great-nephew, Dan Kimble.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 26, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dorothy Herndon will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Sunday night.
