Anne Marie Bassett

MRS. ANNE M. BASSETT Mrs. Anne Marie Bassett, 75, of LaGrange, died Monday, July 7, 2008, at Hospice LaGrange. Born December 10, 1932, in Toledo, Illinois, Mrs. Bassett was the daughter of the late Raymond R. Shoot and the late Delores Easton Shoot. She lived in Stone Mountain before making her home in LaGrange in 2000 and was associated with K-Mart Corporation prior to her retirement. Survivors include her husband, Edward C. Bassett of LaGrange; sons, Mark Edward Bassett and Paul Clark Bassett and his wife, Terri, all of LaGrange; two grandchildren, Erin Marie Bassett of Atlanta and Douglas Abraham Bassett of LaGrange; sisters, Sandra Jones of Toledo, IL and Ruth Clark of Mattoon, IL; and brothers, Carl Shoot of Toledo, IL, Berle Shoot of Normal, IL, Gene A. Shoot and Richard Shoot, both of Greenup, IL. David Shoot of Lexington, KY, Jesse Shoot of Effingham, IL and James Shoot of Lerna, IL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Warfel and Nola E. Shoot, both of Toledo, IL. A memorial service is not planned at this time. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
