Ann Evans Elder

MRS. ANN ELDER Mrs. Ann Evans Elder, 69, of Grantville, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 18, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jody Mitchell will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 Friday night. Mrs. Elder was born April 8, 1944, in Grantville, daughter of the late Herman and Christine Hayes Evans. A lifelong resident of the Grantville area, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grantville and was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Earnest Elder; daughter and son in-law, Tammy and Jody Mitchell, son, Danny Elder, all of Grantville; brother and sister in-law, William and Evelyn Evans of Hogansville; and grandson, Dustin Mitchell and his wife, Amy, also of Hogansville.
