MRS. ANN COKER EIDSON Mrs. Ann Coker Eidson, 74, of Jackson, died Monday, September 17, 2012, at Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 19, at the graveside in the Luthersville Cemetery, with Dr. David McCoy officiating. Mrs. Eidson was born February 4, 1938, in Brookhaven, daughter of the late George Wilbur Coker and the late Annie Merle Hill Coker. A resident of Luthersville before making her home with her son in Jackson in 2005, she lived in the Atlanta area most of her life and was retired from the Kroger Company. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Walker Eidson. Survivors include her son and daughter in-law, Kenny and Lisa Garland of Jackson; daughter, Sheri Christian, also of Jackson; son and daughter in-law, Robert and Rhonda Christian of Texas; sister, Dorothy Martin of Luthersville; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Greg Christian. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
