MR. AMOS WILLIAMSON Mr. Amos B. Williamson, 68, of the Lone Oak Community, died Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 7, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge and Jody Hale will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Mr. Williamson was born August 16, 1941 and was a native and lifelong resident of Hogansville. He was Baptist by faith and retired as a truck driver from R & L Carriers. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Williamson of Lone Oak; his children and their spouses, Deborah and Andrew Cook of Franklin, Donald and Gail Moore of Roanoke, AL, Ouida Smith of Lone Oak, Andy and Tina Williamson of Hogansville; his mother, Annie Mae Williamson of Hogansville; sisters and brothers in-law, Martha Hale of Hogansville, Willie Todd of Lexington, KY, Shirley and Roger Williamson of Newnan, Becky and Jimmy Carden of Hogansville, Joyce and Sam Harlin of Chattanooga, TN, Ellen and Sammy Hubbard of Hogansville, Bobbie and Jeffery Williams of Portal; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Williamson; son, Timothy Nichols; and granddaughter, Kirsten Williamson. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 9 Sunday evening, June 6th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 7th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville
