Alton Mabry Sivell

Mr. Alton Mabry Sivell, 75, of LaGrange, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021, at his home. Mr. Sivell was born June 11, 1945, in Troup County, son of the late Alton Jackson Sivell and Bessie Cobb Sivell. A resident of LaGrange most of his life, he retired as a foreman for the sanitation department of the City of LaGrange after 37 years of service. He enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his wife, Susan Sivell; son, Alton J. Sivell and Molly Lackey; daughter, Crystal Marie Sivell, all of LaGrange; and grandchildren, Hailey Wilson, Damian Wilson, Cameron Grabitt, and Chris Sivell; great-grandchildren, Maxwell Sivell, Everett Davis, and Jayce Dowell; and a special friend, Lisa Folds. The family is not planning a memorial service at this time. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
