Alma Joann Trekell

Mrs. Joann Brown Trekell, 81, of Jacksonville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Trekell was born July 18, 1939, daughter of the late Theodore "Buster" Brown and the late Lillian June Brown. A resident of Hogansville before making her home in Jacksonville, she was the wife of the late Everett L. Trekell. Survivors include her sons, Allen Smith Mobley, Jr. and his wife Susan Mobley of Jacksonville and David Anthony Mobley of Covington; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Edward Mobley; and her daughters, Deborah Ann Mobley and Theresa Dianne Farmer. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Friday, January 29, at the cryptside in Heritage Hall Mausoleum at Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange, with the Reverend Terry Rainwater officiating. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
