Aline Brand Fields

MRS. ALINE FIELDS Mrs. Aline Brand Fields, 80, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Fields was born July 29, 1934, in Troup County, daughter of the late Charlie and Annie Aldridge Mullennix. She lived in Indianapolis, Indiana for forty years, where she retired as an office manager for Balkamp Company, and then returned to this area where she lived in Pine Mountain for seven years until recently making her home in Columbus. She attended Cedar Rock Baptist Church in Woodbury. Survivors include her daughter, Debra Crenshaw of Columbus; sons, Alan Brand of Franklin, Michael Fields of Camby, IN; sister, Violet Nelson of Columbus; grandchildren, Diane Brand of South Carolina, Lisa Brand of Alabama, Brandon Fields and Andrew Fields of Indiana, Christy Robinson of Pine Mountain, Ricky Smith, Roby Harrington and Thomas W.L. Harrington all of LaGrange; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Fields; daughter, Sherry Harrington; and granddaughter, Kim Keeble. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 27, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Jimmy McMillian officiating. Interment will be in Indianapolis, Indiana. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 Monday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
