MS. ALICE LITTLEFIELD
Ms. Alice Brown Littlefield, 75, of Hogansville, died Sunday, September 15, 2013, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, September 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Robert Longshore officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 until 5 Thursday afternoon.
Ms. Littlefield was born November 11, 1937, in Randolph County, Alabama, daughter of the late Clarence Lee Brown and Lela Robinson Brown Scott. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she retired from West Point Pepperell in Grantville and then served as a personal caregiver for a number of years.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Jamie Friend and her husband, Michael, Jessica Wade and DeeJay Pike, Jody Wade and his fiancée, Martha Morris Griffin, all of Hogansville, Jackie Knipp and her husband, Casey of LaGrange, Crystal Littlefield of Moreland, Jimmy Littlefield and his wife, Marlene, of Newnan; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Loette Crenshaw of Kansas; and a dear friend she enjoyed traveling with, Doris Hester. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Littlefield Whitt; son, James Allen "BooBoo" Littlefield; granddaughter, Honesty Hope Whitt; and sister, Ydeena Arrington.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
