MRS. ALEAN MARTIN Mrs. Alean Harrell Martin, 77, of Luthersville, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 5, at the graveside in the Harrell Family Cemetery in Broxton. Mrs. Martin was born September 9, 1931, in Winter Garden, Florida, daughter of the late Clarence John Harrell and the late Lena Agnes Gilliard Harrell. Before making her home in Luthersville in 2003, she lived in Douglas and was the wife of the late Frazier Dale Martin. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Shirley and Dennis Clarke of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Sheila Mathis of Luthersville, and Johnnie and Robert Griggs of Douglasville; sister, Lena Fennell of Orlando, FL; brothers, Jack and Betty Harrell of Broxton, Ernest Harrell and Gene Harrell; seven grandchildren, Stacey and Randy Lester, Tracey and John Henderson, Sherry and Charles McCouslin, Charles D., Jr. and Kelly Elliott, Thomas and Summer Maillis, Brandy and Taske Savage, and Shane Griggs; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
