The purpose of a funeral or a memorial service is to allow a family and their friends an opportunity to celebrate a life that has been lived, and to pay tribute to someone who has been an important part of their lives. Claude A. McKibben and Sons strives to offer services and facilities to meet each family’s need.
Many families choose to have a traditional funeral service with cemetery burial, conducted at the funeral home, a church, or at the graveside and preceded by a viewing and visitation on the day or days prior to the service.
Some families choose cremation, which allows them many choices in how to memorialize the life that has been lived. A viewing and visitation may be held, followed by a funeral service and then cremation, rather than burial. Or, a visitation and memorial service may be conducted after cremation.
With one phone call to our firm, we may also arrange for burial in distant cities, or arrange for returning a loved one to this area for services when death occurs in a distant city.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons provides a wide selection of caskets, made from bronze, copper, polished wood, or steel; a selection of burial vaults, made from metal or concrete; and a vast selection of cremation urns and urn burial vaults, made from many different materials and produced in many different styles.
Funeral costs vary, depending on the type of services selected and the casket and burial vault or cremation urn and urn vault selected. Our firm strives to offer service options and funeral merchandise to meet every family’s financial needs.
